Jesus DID NOT Die On The Cross To Save Saints~ He Died To Save Us

You are lost in a dark forest at night, full of wild animals, and you do not know how to get out. You see a light ahead, and it appears to be a parked car with a man outside. You choose not to go near the man. Would you be right to blame the man anyway for not giving you directions?

When you move toward the light, doesn’t the light get brighter? In a similar way, if someone is searching for the truth about God but doesn’t know about Jesus, God desires to give them more light when they respond to the light that they have received. Ultimately God will do whatever it takes to try to reach us because He loves us so dearly and desires a relationship with us, as 2 Peter 3:9 shows.

While the previous illustration is OK, for some there is a more appropriate illustration.

A person is lost in a dark forest at night, full of wild animals. He sees a light ahead, which is a parked car with a man outside. He sneaks up on the man, kills him, burns the map, and then says he is doing the best he can because he knows no other way. He is telling the truth, since he burned the map. Today, about 2 billion people, and perhaps the majority of non-Christians, live in countries and cultures that have killed countless Christian witnesses. If someone approves of killing of Christians, how many more missionaries do you think God is obligated to send them?
But the good news for them is that God still keeps sending some missionaries, because He loves those lost people, even enough to sacrifice the lives of some of His missionaries.

We are all sinners because we are all human~Su

When Jesus said “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28 He was talking to you, today, in this chaotic world of greed and hate. He knows you already, He knows you better than you know yourself and He loves you, He’s never stopped loving you. The harsh lessons and losses were to mould you into the person He wants you to be. Trust in Him ~Su x

CHANGE ~ Tracy Chapman ( I Hate War…..BUT Imagine If………..)

http://youtu.be/VR-ENaM2snc

Thank The Lord for our brave soldiers who give their lives to protect us from THE ENEMY.

BUT there is a problem here in The West. Our enemy sits at the desks of our own leaders, with The Illuminati pulling their strings, not in some remote cave out in Afghanistan or Iraq (Formerly Babylon) They are not our enemy. The war on TERROR never existed until The West (Us) decided way before you or I were born that they wanted complete control of the planet and every single living thing on it. See, herein lies the problem, for them at least, the creator is far more powerful than any mere human, please think about life itself, the workings and intricacies of every living thing on planet earth ~ NOW THAT IS POWER and He’s coming back to save ALL those who believe in Him. Amen. Su x

20140803-010004-3604990.jpgOne evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a debate that goes on inside people. He said,”My son, the battle between two wolves is inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The grandson thought about this for a minute and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”

Wisdom and truth are found everywhere that there is a genuinely good human, Su x

Imagine if……….all the soldiers turned and pointed their weapons at the real terrorists and said, no more war, no more hatred, we the people of planet earth choose the way of peace, love and tolerance now go away ( that was the polite version of the thoughts in my head) How amazing would that be because I truly do believe if people were left to it humanity would be a better place than it is today over time. What happened to us folks, they got to us and dumbed down the human spirit. Now let’s see is X Factor on TV?

Amazing Bible Facts

The Bible has so many amazing facts. Here is a list of ten of them.
1 – The Writing of the Bible
The Bible was written over a 1600 year period by approximately 40 men. The time of the writing was from 1500 BC to AD 100.
2 – The Divisions of the Bible
While the Bible is 1 book, it contain 66 smaller books. The books of the Old Testament were written before the birth of Jesus Christ and the New Testament covers the life of Christ and beyond.
3 – Chapters and Verses
Each of the books, except 5, are divided into chapters and verses. The 5 which aren’t divided by chapters are Obadiah, Philemon, 2 John, 3 John, and Jude. These are short books which only have verse divisions.
Chapters were introduced to the Bible in 1238 by Cardinal Hugo de S. Caro. Verse divisions were not added until 1551 by Robertus Stephanus.
4 – The Longest and Shortest of the Bible
The longest chapter if the Bible is Psalm 119 with 176 verses. The shortest chapter is Psalm 117 with only 2 verses. Incidentally, the middle chapter of the Bible is Psalm 118. also Psalm 117.
The longest book of the Bible is Psalms with 150 chapters, or psalms. It contains 43,743 words. The shortest book is 3 John with only 1 chapter and 299 words.
The longest verse in the Bible is Esther 8:9 with 90 words. The shortest verse is John 11:35 with only 2 words, “Jesus wept.”
5 – The Bible Claims to be God’s Word
There are many books written about and by various religions. But the Bible is the only one which claims to be the actual words of God. Those who believe the Bible also believe that God inspired various people through the years to write down His actual words for mankind. The Bible says more than 3,000 times “thus saith the Lord.” It claims that the words which follow are quotes from God.
6 – The Bible is Historically Accurate
There were several secular historians who wrote about the events of the New Testament at the same time the Bible was being written. Josephus is the most well-known of them. He was a Jewish historian. Tacitus was a Roman historian who would have no benefit from not telling the truth. Both these men, as well as others, can be used to back up the historical accuracy of the Bible.
There are historical discoveries regularly coming to light that continue to support the accuracy of the Bible. Merrill Unger, who compiled a Bible dictionary wrote, “Old Testament archeology has rediscovered whole nations, resurrected important peoples, and in a most astonishing manner filled in historical gaps, adding immeasurably to the knowledge of Biblical backgrounds.”
7 – The Business of the Bible
There are more than 168,000 Bibles either sold or given away per day in the United States according to the Gideons, Wycliffe International and the International Bible Societies.
Historically it has been said that the Bible is the most sold book of all time. It is regularly on various best seller lists.
The Bible has been translated into more than 1,200 languages.
8 – The Bible Never Contradicts Itself
There are no contradictions in the Bible. Various people claim to find contradictions but they have to take verses out of context to do so. When looking at the Bible as a whole and understanding its teachings there are no contradictions. This is amazing when one considers that the Bible was written over such a long period of time.
9 – The Prophecies of the Bible
There are more than 3,200 verses with fulfilled prophecy either within the Bible itself or since the Bible was written. But there are still more than 3,100 verses with unfulfilled prophecies.
10 – The Writers of the Bible
While there were at least 40 different people who wrote parts of the Bible, some were more prolific than others. The Apostle Paul wrote at least 13 books of the Bible. He may have also been the author of the book of Hebrews. Moses wrote the first 5 books.
The Bible attributes more than 3,000 proverbs to King Solomon. These are not all written in the book of Proverbs. However, most of that book is said to be the proverbs of Solomon.

Do you know of any other book written by so many different folks on different continents spanning so many years? Me neither, and have you checked out the Biblical prophecies written in this amazing book that are coming true? It’s beautifully accurate beyond doubt now. We ARE living in End Times no doubt about that. There are some mind blowing videos on YouTube confirming all this. Heaven or Hell are just a thin veil away, choose wisely, your loving Father is waiting to hear from you right now with his ever loving open arms. “Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28 Su x

Meet a thief who went to Heaven

I would like you to meet a thief who went to Heaven!

When Jesus was crucified on “the old rugged Cross,” there hung a thief on each side of Him. To one of them He said, “To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:43.

Why did one thief go to Heaven and the other to Hell? What did the one do to save his soul?

I would like you to meet a thief who went to Heaven!

When Jesus was crucified on “the old rugged Cross,” there hung a thief on each side of Him. To one of them He said, “To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:43.

Why did one thief go to Heaven and the other to Hell? What did the one do to save his soul?

Remember, his arms and legs were nailed to the Cross; therefore, he
• could not take communion
• could not be baptized
• could not join a church
• could not read a prayer book
• could not give money to the church or charity
• could not plead his own goodness or try self-improvement
• could not call his pastor or priest

In fact, many acts that some people stress as necessary to salvation, as a “straight ticket” to Heaven, he could not perform. All these “could not’s” did not keep him out of Heaven. Why? Because there were several vital acts he could and did do.

1. He Repented
He acknowledged his sinfulness to the other thief and to Christ. He said: “We (thieves) receive the due reward of our deeds.” Luke 23:41

The Bible says, “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3

2. He Believed and Received…
the Lord Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world, and of his own Soul.

The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Acts 16:31

3. He Confessed…
his faith in Jesus Christ as the sinless Son of God. He said to the unbelieving thief, “This man (Jesus) hath done nothing amiss.” Luke 23:41

The Bible says, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9

Remember, what the repentant thief could do, he did. What he did, you can do also.
• You can repent of your sins.
• You can believe in Jesus and receive Him as your own personal Saviour.
• You can confess Christ publicly before your friends and relatives.

But don’t wait until you are dying, as the thief did.

“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” II Corinthians 6:2

Jesus Christ said, “I am the Way… no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6

Only repentance to Christ; faith in Christ; and confession of Christ will give you peace of mind and the Lord’s assurance, “To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.” Luke 23:43

Will you take these three vital steps TODAY?

Stitching-up claimants is all part of the job, says Jobcentre insider

“Set up to fail”: Claimants
Last week Iain Duncan Smith met a whistle-blower who has worked for his Department for Work and Pensions for more than 20 years.

Giving the Secretary of State a dossier of evidence, the former Jobcentre Plus adviser told him of a “brutal and bullying” culture of “setting claimants up to fail”.

“The pressure to sanction customers was constant,” he said. “It led to people being stitched-up on a daily basis.”

The man wishes to be anonymous but gave his details to IDS, DWP minister Esther McVey and Neil Couling, Head of Jobcentre Plus, who also attended the meeting.

“We were constantly told ‘agitate the customer’ and that ‘any engagement with the customer is an opportunity to sanction’,” he told them.

Labour MP Debbie Abrahams, the member of the DWP Select Committee who set up the meeting, has renewed her call for an inquiry into inappropriate sanctioning.

“I am deeply concerned that sanctions are being used to create the illusion the Government is bringing down unemployment,” she said.

Sanctions pre-date the Coalition as a way of ensuring benefit claimants, who include the jobless and sick and disabled people on Employment Support Allowance, attend appointments and apply for jobs. But under the Tory-led Government, they have soared – to 897,690 a year from the most recent data.

Sanctions can last from a couple of days to three years, and leave claimants destitute.

Abrahams says that sanctioned people only continue to be counted as unemployed as long as they continue to sign on.

The DWP says most people who receive a sanction remain on Jobseeker’s Allowance for the duration of their sanction and so will be included in the claimant count.

IDS and his department have repeatedly denied there are targets for sanctions.

“They don’t always call them targets, they call them ‘expectations’ that you will refer people’s benefits to the decision maker,” the whistle-blower says. “It’s the same thing.”

He claimed managers fraudulently altered claimants’ records, adding: “Managers would change people’s appointments without telling them. The appointment wouldn’t arrive in time in the post so they would miss it and have to be sanctioned. That’s fraud. The customer fails to attend. Their claim is closed. It’s called ‘off-flow’ – they come off the statistics. Unemployment has dropped. They are being stitched up.”

For 20 years, the whistle-blower loved his job as an adviser. He says: “It was really rewarding helping people into work.”

But he says the culture changed after the election of the Coalition.

“Customers were being deliberately and inappropriately targeted,” the whistle-blower says. “I would see people crying in frustration, knowing they have been stitched up. Yet my Jobcentre was held up as a shining example to others. One of the district managers came to congratulate us. He said, ‘I see these people hanging round the precinct, being lazy, drinking, taking drugs’. That was a very senior leader. Another said, ‘These people are taking your money’. There was a total disrespect for the customer.”

Advisers were told to “inconvenience” benefit claimants, he says. “I was told see them face to face, agitate them. ‘Let’s inconvenience the customer’, they said, ‘get on these people from day one’.

“They were treated appallingly, lots of conditions put on them. Many of them were vulnerable people with low self-esteem or coming back off sick. We were setting customers up to fail.

“If I do my job well and their claim is managed well, there should be fewer sanctions. Instead, good advisers were the ones who sanctioned more people. It was a daily mantra, ‘Have you sanctioned anyone?’

I particularly remember a well-qualified father, he was desperate to work, with a wife and child to support. I was told to agitate him. They said, ‘Tell him he’s got to apply for factory and labouring jobs. Change his contract. If he doesn’t take the jobs, stop his benefit’. It was a trap.”

When managers refused to listen, he became sick with stress. “My body just gave up,” he says. “I had high blood pressure, I was put on beta-blockers. I was in a state of physical collapse.”

Debbie Abrahams, MP for Oldham East and Saddleworth, says Esther McVey had agreed to a sanctions inquiry, but has since made a U-turn.

She says: “Just what are Iain Duncan Smith and Esther McVey trying to hide?

“This Government has developed a culture in which Jobcentre Plus advisers are expected to sanction claimants using unjust, and potentially fraudulent actions, in order get people off the dole.

“This creates the illusion the Government is bringing down unemployment.

“The last thing Iain Duncan Smith and Esther McVey want is for this uncomfortable truth to be uncovered.”

Last night a spokeswoman for the DWP said: “We take any allegations such as this seriously and will investigate.

“Our frontline staff work hard to support people off benefits and into work, and it’s only right that we ask claimants to do everything they can to look for work in return. Unemployment is falling, there are record numbers of people in jobs and there are 600,000 vacancies.
